Trail of Dead - Wasted State of Mind

...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead is a rock band out of Austin, Texas, with a very eclectic sampling of music for your taste buds. Wasted State of Mind starts off with an extremely fast percussion track, of which the exact instrument, I'm still trying to figure out. I believe it's a Krin aka (Slit Drum), though I'm not 100% sure. Next comes a very slow melodic piano (bass), on top of that, even more piano, drumset, and guitar.
